History

This event was founded in 1999 by Colorado University Coach, Anne Kelly, who is a former resident of Tucson and a graduate of Santa Rita High School. Anne’s mother used to live in SaddleBrooke before she relocated to Colorado, and there was a need for a collegiate event in the area. Coach Kelly worked with Colorado State throughout the years to make this event a successful stop on the Collegiate Women’s tour of tournaments. It’s a special event where the players are hosted by various homeowners throughout SaddleBrooke.

Currently, K-State and the University of Missouri host this event. The Tournament will typically have 13-15 Division I, II, and III colleges participating.
